FBC has committed 2021 to focusing on “People”. We are dedicated to reaching people. We are committed to Loving People regardless of your circumstances with the goal of growing together. This Outreach Sunday Life group class is an open class. All adults are welcome to grow with us as we weekly study the word of God. We are a class that not only focuses on the inner workings of the church, but we also strive to stay in tune with our community as well. We enjoy weekly discussions using the Sunday School Publishing Board curriculum as our guide. We have fun and fellowship as well as enjoy group adventures outside of the church as we grow together. We would love for you to come grow with us. We are a group who enjoys studying God’s word while loving and growing God’s people as a group while we continue on this journey to fulfill His Great Commission.

Hey soon-to-be Golden Girl, my name is Deacon Laura Douglas! I like to watch the Golden Girls. I like how they have fun with each other. Before I leave this Earth, I’m going to find St. Olaf! The thing I especially love about the girls is that they don’t have to go through life alone; as the song says, they are pals and confidants. Hello! My name is Deacon Michael Wynne. Obedience, faith, and dependence on God made Joshua one of Israel's strongest leaders. He provided a bold example for us to follow. Like us, Joshua was often besieged by other voices, but he chose to follow God, and he did it faithfully. Joshua took seriously the Ten Commandments and ordered the people of Israel to live by them as well.
Even though Joshua was not perfect, he proved that a life of obedience to God bears great rewards. Sin always has consequences. If we live according to God's Word, like Joshua, we will receive God's blessings.

Hello! My name is Minister Tony Brinkley. I am a minister here at FBC. I am also a loving husband; a loving father; a loving friend; loving Christian...it's safe to say I love to love! There are slew of laws that are mentioned in the Old Testament of the Bible and if those laws were not followed...let's just say you'd probably want to write your will early in the game :) Well, I just love the fact that God loves us enough to know that we are all flakey in some sort of way. He knew that we'd all be long gone if we had to abide by all those laws. Shoot, we can't even slow down at a yellow light; that means speed up :) God loves us so much that he sent us a a savior that would live and die for our sinfulness. This
savior is Jesus and the only thing he asked us to do is love. Isn't it a shame how such a small word can make the difference in ones words, thoughts, or deeds? The word "Love" is mentioned over 310 in the New Testament of the Bible; depending on which version one is reading. It's mentioned more than any other word in the Bible! Wow, this must mean that Jesus wants us to live by it! This is why I created the The Agape Set Life Group! This Life Group focuses on loving people regardless of who they are or what they believe. Dr. Pastor Jackson. Since 1993 I have coached football, basketball, soccer,and softball so I have always been involved with youth in our community, as well as working with our children and youth at First Baptist.
